Long Road

David Pfeiffer’s journey from guitar strings to AI melodies

My Journey

I picked up a guitar at 12. By the time I was in college I was writing songs — real ones, the kind that meant something. Then life happened the way it does. Six kids, a career in technology, decades of building things for other people.

The music never left. It just waited. At 68, retired, I discovered AI music tools. All those patterns I’d been playing on guitar for fifty years, all those songs sitting in notebooks — suddenly I had a way to finish what I started.

This isn’t AI making music. This is me, finally making music, with AI as my instrument.

Music patiently waited through decades.
